FAQ

Common integration questions, and how to contact technical support.

General questions

Q: What do I do when my access token expires?

A: A token is valid for 2 hours. Cache the token in your application and refresh it before it expires. If you receive a 401 error, get a new token.

Q: How do I make sure a Payment Intent or Refund is not created twice?

A: Every POST request must carry a unique Idempotency-Key. When you retry the same business request, reuse the same key. Use a different key for each different business request.

Q: What if I do not receive a Webhook notification?

A: Check that the Webhook URL is configured correctly and is publicly accessible, that your server returns a 2xx status code, and that your firewall allows requests from Stabo. If needed, query the Payment Intent or Refund status with the query endpoints.

Q: What is the amount unit of a Payment Intent?

A: Amounts are decimal strings in standard units, with the precision of the currency. For example, "20.00" means 20.00 USD, and "2000" means 2000 JPY. If a request has more decimal places than the currency precision allows, the request is rejected.
